[ACS] WANDERING GIRL 850 credits

There is a locked room for sale in the catalog called Wandering Girl. It's by Anshe and sells for 825 credits. It is hauntingly beautiful.

I have heard that Anshe is quite successful. To me, if she never made anything by Wandering Girl, she should be immortalized. It's a work of art and not like anything I ever expected to see in imvu.

Picture this: A freezing cold night, a brick wall, a bench covered with a layer of snow, snow falling steadily, and, under a street lamp, a young girl playing a violin. It's part The Little Matchgirl in Dickens' London, part La Boheme, part Dr. Zhavago. I see her as a young gypsy, clad in raggedy clothes, possibly right after the Russian Revolution. She is playing her heart out in the hopes of making some money.

The violin music is original. Perhaps what surprises me the most is that I don't tire of the violin music, and I'm not a big fan of the violin. In fact this particular tune runs through my mind often when I'm offline.

The scene opens with the girl (or it could be a guy) playing the violin. There is a seating spot on top of the wall; there is a spot where she huddles against the wall shivering; there is a seating spot on the bench, and also a sleeping spot curled up on the bench; and there is a very romantic pose where the couple, with arms around each other, are pressed close together. Pull back and look at the scene from across the street--the view is breathtaking.

I'm not a romantic, far from it, but I can't imagine anyone not being touched by this scene; it simply melted me. I've shown it to people, I've given it as gifts, I think everyone should see it. Anshe has a video of it on the catalog page, also very moving, but nothing to compare with being in the scene yourself. If you want to fall in love, stand in the snow, listen to the music, put your arms around the person you're with, and let the magic begin.
